Flights to Ctg, Cox’s Bazar and Kolkata suspended due to Cyclone Remal

Due to Cyclone Remal, a flight ban has been imposed on the Dhaka-Chattogram, Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka-Kolkata routes.

As per a decision of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, all flight operations on the Dhaka-Chattogram-Dhaka routes were suspended from 12 noon to 8 pm on Sunday, said Captain Kamrul, managing director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Group.

In addition, all flight operations at Cox’s Bazar Airport have been suspended since this morning until further notice, he added.

In the meantime, no flights will be operated on the Dhaka-Kolkata route until further notice, says Kamrul Islam.
