Hamas-run state media office says at least 30 people killed in Israeli attack near Rafah

The Hamas-run government media office in the Gaza Strip said late Sunday that at least 30 people were killed and dozens injured in Israeli attacks on a center for displaced people near the Palestinian territory’s southernmost town of Rafah.

The attacks “resulted in the deaths of 30 martyrs and dozens of injuries,” the office said in a statement. The Gaza Strip’s Civil Defense Authority also confirmed Israeli attacks on the area, which is home to 100,000 displaced people.
