SUNNY WEATHER COMING. ALL OK JOHN, THANKS. NEW THIS MORNING. DES MOINES POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE INCIDENT AFTER A PERSON WAS STABBED ON THE METRO. THIS HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 10 PM LAST NIGHT NEAR THE 600 BLOCK OF SIXTH AVENUE IN DOWNTOWN. POLICE SAY A MAN SUFFERED INJURIES TO HIS NECK AND TORSO BUT WAS AWAKE WHEN FIRST RESPONDERS ARRIVED. HIS CONDITION IS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN, BUT POLICE SAY

Des Moines police are investigating after a person was stabbed on the subway Saturday night. The attack happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue downtown. Police say a man suffered injuries to his neck and upper body but was conscious when emergency responders arrived. Authorities have not released any information on the man’s condition. Des Moines police are investigating after a person was stabbed to death on the subway Saturday night.

The attack occurred on Saturday shortly before 10 p.m. in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue in downtown. According to police, a man suffered injuries to his neck and upper body, but was conscious when emergency responders arrived.

Authorities have not yet released any information about the man’s condition. The incident remains under investigation and police believe there is no further danger to the community.
