Woman dead, 2 injured in accident in southern Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — According to Nevada State Police, a woman has died following an early morning crash in the southern Las Vegas Valley.

Around 4 a.m. on Sunday, NSP responded to a crash report in the area of ​​215 and Jones Boulevard. According to police, the crash involved two vehicles and three people were taken to a local hospital.

One woman was pronounced dead in hospital and the other two people suffered minor but non-life-threatening injuries.

The 215 eastbound was closed at Rainbow Boulevard and the Rainbow on-ramp.
