Police in New Orleans arrest man who allegedly sexually harassed two women

Orleans Parish records show that a man who allegedly sexually assaulted two women was arrested

HAPPY SUNDAY AND BACK TO YOU. AND NOW IT’S TIME FOR ANOTHER TEST ON OUR FIRST WEATHER ALERT. BECAUSE WE HAVE A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. BECAUSE OF THE HEAT. YES. AND YOU KNOW, WE’RE LOOKING AT OUR LIVE CAMERA BEHIND US. THAT’S A GOOD CAMERA CAPTURE BECAUSE YES, TODAY IS GOING TO BE A GOOD BEACH DAY. BUT, YOU KNOW, I ALSO SEE THE WAVES COMING ON SHORE. A COUPLE BLACK CAPSULES OUT THERE BECAUSE OF THE BREEZE. I SEE THEM CRASHING. BUT WHY ARE NOT MORE PEOPLE ON THE BEACH? I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT. IT’S TOO HOT. IT’S TOO HOT, TOO HOT, TOO HOT FOR THE BEACH. WELL, IT’S PRETTY HOT, THAT’S FOR SURE. OUR HEAT INDEX IS GOING TO BE ABOUT 105 TODAY. I THINK UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON. HERE’S WDSU FIRST WARNING RADAR LOOKING FOR RAIN. AT THIS TIME WE’RE NOT FINDING ANY, BUT LET’S USE OUR RADAR NETWORK. WE CAN ACTUALLY ACCESS THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY. AND I’M SHOWING THIS TO YOU BECAUSE IT’S COMING HERE ON WDS YOU IN JUST 14 MINUTES. THE INDIANAPOLIS 500. WELL, I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE JUST A LITTLE DELAY. NOT JUST RAIN, BUT A THUNDERSTORM MOVING DIRECTLY TOWARDS THE RACETRACK. THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE SOME WEATHER ISSUES, BUT BOUTTE AND I JUST LOOKED AT THE LATEST DATA. THEY’RE MAYBE PUSHING IT BACK AN HOUR OR TWO. MAYBE EVEN START RUNNING AT 11:45 AM. I DON’T KNOW. THEY’LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE STORM PASSES, BUT THERE’S GOING TO BE SOME WEATHER ISSUES THAT THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH HERE IN THE NEXT HOUR TO TWO HOURS OR SO. ALL GOOD. OUR HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY 8:00 AM. THIS AFTERNOON IT’S GOING TO FEEL LIKE OVER 100. TOMORROW IT’S GOING TO FEEL LIKE OVER 100. OUR CURRENT CONDITIONS AT LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: 83 DEGREES WITH A DEW POINT OF 76. THAT’S A PRETTY HIGH DEW POINT FOR THE END OF MAY, CONSIDERING THE HUMIDITY. HERE’S YOUR FEELS AT 947. IN THE MORNING. IN HAMMOND IT ALREADY FEELS LIKE 92, IN BOGALUSA IT’S 93. 92, THE CURRENT HEAT INDEX IN BELLE CHASE. AND IN THE AFTERNOON IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET HOTTER. A DISTURBANCE THAT’S BRINGING SOME RAIN AND CLOUDS TO NORTHERN PART OF LOUISIANA. BUT THE HIGH PRESSURE AREA THAT’S JUST BEEN IN THE GULF FOR THE LAST 12 HOURS OR SO, BRINGING US A SOUTH WIND AS IT MOVES FURTHER EAST. THE WIND IS JUST GETTING A LITTLE STRENGTH, THE WINDS ARE ABOUT 10 TO 12 TO 15 MPH. AND THAT’S HOW WINDY IT’S GOING TO BE FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON. COMPUTER MODELS FORECAST US IN THE LOW TO MID 90S FOR THE AFTERNOON, AS HIGH AS 94S IN SOME PLACES. AND AGAIN THE HEAT INDEX 105 106, WE MAY HAVE A FEW MORE CLOUDS TOMORROW AND WE MAY HAVE 1 OR 2 SHOTS OF RAIN IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING, LIKE IN BOGALUSA OR HAMMOND, BUT IT WOULD BE A VERY LIGHT SHOT OF RAIN. HOWEVER, WE OFFICIALLY ESTIMATE THE CHANCE FOR TOMORROW AT 20%. WE’LL PROBABLY HAVE A FEW SPOTS OF RAIN, MOST OF THEM IN THE AFTERNOON, BUT THE BETTER CHANCE OF RAIN IS WITH A COLD FRONT. AND I KNOW THERE’S A COLD FRONT IN LATE MAY. WELL, COLD FRONTS REALLY DON’T COME MUCH FURTHER SOUTH THAN NEW ORLEANS THIS TIME OF YEAR. AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THAT FRONT? IT WILL JUST BE OVER US AND BE STATIONARY, SO IT’S POSSIBLE TO GET SHOWERS ON TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. IT SHOULD WIP ITSELF OFF SOMETIME ON THURSDAY, BRINGING US SOMETHING COOLER AND DRIER AIR. NOT A DRAMATIC COOLING DOWN, BUT NOT AS HOT AS IT WILL BE TODAY AND TOMORROW. HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT TODAY, MOSTLY SUNNY AND WINDY. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE LOWER 30S BUT THERE WILL BE A SOUTH WIND 5 TO 10 MPH MOSTLY CLEAR, WARM AND HUMBLE TONIGHT. FIRST IN THE MORNING. We’ll still have temperatures in the 25-30s and then tomorrow we’ll have that heat advisory again. It’s officially in effect until 8:00 PM in the evening. Mostly sunny with a 20% chance of a scattered rain shower. We’ll make Tuesday the second day of weather influences because I still think the heat index will be well above 38 degrees in the afternoon. But there may even be a 30-40% chance of scattered showers late Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain chances increase a bit on Wednesday as the day approaches. AND THEN IT WILL BE A LITTLE COOLER AND A LITTLE LESS HUMID FOR US, WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES OF ABOVE 30° C AS COMPARED TO THE LOW TO MID 30° C.
