Brothers arrested as suspects in fatal car fire on April 1

Two brothers have been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was found after a car fire, Phoenix police said.

Jose Lomeli, 40, was charged with joint murder in the death of 26-year-old Jose De Jesus Loeza, and Roberto Lomeli, 35, was charged with related offenses, police said Sunday.

On April 1 at approximately 6:40 a.m., police found a burning vehicle in a canal near 3400 N. 55.^th Avenue. Firefighters extinguished the fire and the victim was found dead inside.
