Police investigate after motorcyclist shoots at car on I-280 in San Mateo County – NBC Bay Area

According to the California Highway Patrol, police are investigating after a motorcyclist shot at another car on Interstate 280 in San Mateo County on Saturday night.

The shooting occurred around 11:14 p.m. as the driver was traveling south on I-280, CHP said.

North of Woodside Road, three motorcyclists approached the driver. One of the motorcyclists shot three times at the rear of the car, according to the CHP. No one was injured.

The driver told CHP he did not know the motorcyclists and was unsure why the shooting occurred.
