Woman killed in early morning accident

According to police, a 29-year-old woman died in a traffic accident this morning.

The deceased was identified as Chris Ragoonanan of Porsche Street in Harmony Hall, Gasparillo.

Authorities were informed around 2am this morning that Ragoonanan was driving a white Hyundai Accent accompanied by a 34-year-old woman and was travelling west along Union Road in Marabella.

However, Ragoonanan lost control of the car, which then crashed into a concrete wall of Ali’s Hardware, which was located on the north side of the road.

Ragoonanan suffered fatal injuries as a result of the impact and died at the scene of the accident.

Her 34-year-old boyfriend suffered minor injuries and was taken to San Fernando General Hospital for treatment.

She is expected to be released later today.

A team of officers led by Sergeant Ramoo responded to the incident.
