Two teenagers die, one injured in nighttime accident in Temple Sunday

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Temple police say they are investigating a motorcycle crash that left two people dead early Sunday morning.

On May 26, the department said it was called to the intersection of W. Adams Avenue and Westfield Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. for a traffic accident.

The scene is near an area that suffered severe damage from a tornado earlier this week.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they learned that a motorcyclist had hit a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old.

Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman pronounced the couple dead at the scene and ordered an autopsy.

The third victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is currently unknown.

Temple Police say their investigation has determined the motorcycle was traveling westbound, but the cause of the accident is currently unknown.

They also say the victims’ next of kin will be notified before further information is released.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact Temple Police.

This is an evolving story.
