VIDEO: Serious accident leads to red flag at Monaco Grand Prix

For three drivers, the Monaco GP was almost over before it had even begun after they were involved in a spectacular accident at the back of the field: Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) and the Haas of Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg.

Further up the track, Pérez was finally hit from behind by Magnussen after the first corner as the Danish driver tried to overtake him on the right-hand side and ran out of space.

Hülkenberg was close behind and could not prevent the confusion. The Mexican’s Red Bull was badly damaged and the track was littered with debris, but none of the drivers involved suffered serious injuries.
