Egyptian butcher arrested for raping, torturing and murdering prostitutes

ALBAWABA – The person who confused Egypt and the Cairo police was finally arrested. Nicknamed “سفاح التجمع (which means Butcher of the 5th Settlement)” he was arrested by the Egyptian authorities.

On Saturday morning, Egyptian security services announced the arrest of a young man named Kareem. He is accused of killing at least four girls and dumping their bodies in desert areas in the governorates of Port Said and Ismailia.

Who is Kareem, known as the 5th settlement butcher

Kareem, 37, has lived in the apartment where he committed a series of crimes for over a year and has a nine-year-old child.

The mass murderer lived in the United States but recently returned and works in trade in Egypt and abroad. He has Egyptian and foreign citizenship. He is also divorced.

Strange rituals performed before killing victims:

It is noteworthy that all of the women killed worked as prostitutes in Egypt, according to local media. The killer is said to have performed strange rituals on his victims before raping and killing them.

Investigations by the security services revealed that the defendant’s victims were all prostitutes from Cairo Governorate. He forced them to take methamphetamine and shabu drugs before having “sex” with them.

The court also decided to refer the defendant to the forensic pathologist to determine whether or not he had taken any narcotics and to examine his phone to determine whether there were any new victims in the incident.
