Patricia H. Chandler PORTSMOUTH – Mrs. Patricia Houston Chandler departed this life on March 27, 2009 at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was known to her family and friends as Pat. Pat was 57 years old, born December 26, 1951 to Mrs. Vivian Brown Houston and Mr. Charles Houston. She was the wife of Melvin Chandler. She leaves one daughter, Layoto Coakley Williams; three grandsons, NaQuan Coakley, Quanna Coakley and Malik Williams; a granddaughter, Shacora Williams; a son-in-law, Erick Williams; two sisters, Gayle Outland and Brenda Warren; three brothers, Larry Houston, Robert Houston, Joe Houston; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by one son, Lorenzo Houston; two sisters, Cynthia Houston Burden, Vivian Houston Towner and one brother, Nathaniel Houston. A service was held in Jacksonville.
