Man dies days after being hit by object in Scarborough murder

Toronto police have identified a man who died in hospital three days after he was struck by an object in a Scarborough home. The case is being classified as a homicide. In a news release Friday, police said the victim is Mohamed Alladin, 57, of Toronto. Police released a picture of Alladin, who died Sunday. He is Toronto’s 31st homicide victim this year. A 65-year-old man was arrested at the scene and now faces a charge of first-degree murder. He was initially charged with aggravated assault.
