Three dead in Morris County after head-on collision

MORRIS COUNTY (KSNT) – Three people are dead in a head-on collision in Morris County.

According to a Facebook post from the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles were involved in the crash near P Ave. and Kelso Road at around 3:54 p.m.

There were two people in one of the vehicles, both of whom were taken to Morris County Hospital with serious injuries.

There were five people in the other vehicle, two of whom were also taken to Morris County Hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. The other three were pronounced dead at the scene.

This accident is under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol. Kelso Road is closed near the accident scene and alternate routes are recommended.
