Nicki Minaj arrested by police in Amsterdam and incident broadcast via livestream

Nicki also tweeted the incident live. “They said they found weed and another group of people had to come over to weigh the pre-rolled joints,” she wrote on X. “Remember, they took my bags without consent. My security already told them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh, and the pilot wants me to delete my IG post.”

She added“Now they said I had to go five minutes away to the police station to make a statement about my safety.”

Nicki said her luggage was subjected to a manual search. “They tried to stop me from every show,” Nicki said in an Instagram video. “They took my luggage before I could see it. They put it on the plane.”

Nicki had performed at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on May 23 and was due to fly to the UK for a concert in Manchester on the day of the incident. However, she was unable to make it in time and Live Nation UK said in a statement to NBC News that the show had been postponed.

“Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue to make tonight’s show possible, today’s events have made that impossible,” the group said. “We are deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused.”
