Palestinian shot in colonial attack near Nablus |


On Saturday, illegal Israeli colonialists attacked Palestinian-owned homes in the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank, where a young man was shot and killed, and attacked the deputy mayor of the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

A young Palestinian was shot with live ammunition in an attack by Israeli paramilitary colonists in the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, on Saturday evening.

Local activist Fouad Hassan said a group of armed paramilitary settlers from the illegal colony “Esh Kodesh” opened fire on the homes of Palestinian citizens under the protection of the occupation army.

Hassan added that local citizens resisted the settlers’ attack while the colonial rulers and the army fired live ammunition, shooting a 29-year-old Palestinian in the stomach.

Palestine TV quoted the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) as saying that its ambulance crews had taken the young man to hospital for treatment.

It is not clear whether the army or the settlers shot the young man, and his condition was unknown at the time of writing.

It was added that the occupying forces confiscated a citizen’s vehicle when they left the city with the settlers.

A similar message said a group of illegal colonists attacked the deputy mayor of the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

According to media sources, illegal Israeli settlers attacked municipal employees on Saturday afternoon while they were working on water pipes in the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron.

It was added that the city’s deputy mayor, Nader Hamidat, suffered bruises in an attack by the colonists and was taken to hospital for treatment.
