Pendleton officer shot, suspect injured in Anderson incident

ANDERSON, Ind. – A Pendleton officer was shot and killed during an incident in Anderson on Tuesday.

The shooting happened near a gas station in the 2500 block of Broadway Street.

Police described the officer’s injuries to 13News as non-life-threatening.

A suspect was also injured in the shooting. The suspect’s injuries are described as “serious.”
