Conn. State Police Major Crimes Investigates Assault in Westbrook – NBC Connecticut

The Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad is investigating an assault that occurred Friday evening in Westbrook.

Police said there was a report of a non-active assault near Boston Post Road and Goodspeed Drive shortly before 9 p.m.

According to state police, one person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. Authorities did not release details about the person’s injuries.

The Central District Major Crime Squad is currently investigating the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
