Chase in Morrisville leads to arrest of two teenagers

MORRISVILLE, NC – Two juveniles were arrested in Morrisville Friday morning after a chase turned into a foot chase.

At approximately 2:52 a.m., officers from the Morrisville Police Department were dispatched to a report that four men had broken into two pickup trucks at The Pointe at Lake Crabtree apartments.

When officers arrived, four suspects fled in a black Volkswagen Jetta. When the pursuit ended, all four suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.

Two of them were caught. One was taken to the Wake County Jail on outstanding warrants from Durham. WRAL News is trying to find out what happened to the other two suspects.

Morrisville police have charged both juveniles with burglary and possession of a stolen motor vehicle from Durham.
