Shooting in Downtown Los Angeles leaves one dead, suspect still at large

Police say they are searching for three suspects in connection with the shooting of a man in downtown Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the LA Police Department, officers responded to the area of ​​Pico Boulevard and Hope Street around 3:25 a.m.

Around that time, a man observed three men taking “property” away from a location. When he tried to intervene, police say, the men turned around and shot him.

The man, described only as white and between 30 and 35 years old, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The three suspects fled the scene before police arrived, police said. They were still at large on Saturday morning.
