The death of a Massachusetts celebrity is now under criminal investigation

That’s a sad fact, dear Massachusetts friends and neighbors. The only thing worse than learning that one of your favorite celebrities has died is finding out months later (after you’ve accepted and accepted it) that it happened under mysterious circumstances.

As many of you already know, Friends star Matthew Perry died on October 18, 2023, from complications of ketamine, an anesthetic used to treat depression, chronic pain, drug and alcohol problems, and more. The accident was initially ruled an accident with no signs of foul play.

According to CBS News, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency are now further investigating Perry’s death based on the results of the autopsy.

According to the autopsy report:

Perry’s cause of death was not the previous infusion therapy, since the half-life of the drug is only three to four hours, but rather the ingestion of ketamine by other means.

The LAPD, DEA and US Postal Inspection Service are currently investigating How That’s how much ketamine Perry had in his system at the time of his death, and how did he even get hold of the ketamine?

Matthew Langford Perry, a native of Williamstown, was only 54 years old when he passed away in October of last year. Unfortunately, Perry suffered from drug and alcohol addiction for much of his life.

Perry rose to worldwide fame through the popular television series “Friends,” in which he played the role of Chandler Bing. He has appeared in numerous other television series, including “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” a remake of “The Odd Couple,” “The Good Wife,” and “The West Wing” (for which he received an Emmy nomination).

Perry has also starred in or appeared in several feature films, including Fools Rush In (1996) with Salma Hayek, No Half Measures (2000) and its sequel No Half Measures (2004) (both with Bruce Willis), and 17 Again (2009).
