MPD issues city alert for missing man

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Memphis police have issued a city alert for a missing 61-year-old man.

According to MPD, David Woods has been missing from the 2000 block of Covington Pike since May 18. He is 6’2″ tall, they say.

He is bald, has a goatee, and weighs approximately 220 pounds, according to MPD. He is known to drive a gold 2013 Ford Edge 4-door with Mississippi plates reading DAL670, according to MPD.

Police said he may be suffering from an altered state of consciousness that could make it difficult for him to return home alone.
