NYPD: 16-year-old robbed at knifepoint and attacked by trio in the Bronx

THE BRONX, NY (PIX11) — Police are searching for three suspects accused of robbing a 16-year-old boy in the Bronx on Thursday, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. near 1229 Franklin Ave., police said. Three suspects approached the 16-year-old victim and allegedly stole his belongings after pulling out a knife, police said.

As the victim ran across the street to escape, two of the suspects chased him, kicking and punching him, authorities said. The victim suffered scratches to his arm and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
