Man stabbed in stomach on Stronach Avenue in Goldsboro, police say

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) – A man was hospitalized after a stabbing in Goldsboro Friday night, police said.

Shortly before midnight, Goldsboro Police responded to a 911 call reporting that a man had been stabbed in the 600 block of Stronach Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Antonio Devonne Wooten suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.

He was taken to UNC Health Wayne and then transferred to ECU Health in Greenville for further treatment.

This is an ongoing investigation.
