UPDATE: Police investigating 18-year-old man found dead in Lexington Park – Southern Maryland News Net

UPDATE 24.05.2024: On Friday, May 24, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m., officers with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office (SMCSO) responded to a report of a person in respiratory arrest in the 20000 block of Colby Drive in Park Hall, MD.

Upon arrival, officers found a dead male victim lying on the ground outside the residence.

Detectives from the SMCSO Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and a forensic scientist from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner arrived at the scene, where CID took over the investigation. The initial investigation revealed no evidence of foul play.

The victim was identified as 18-year-old Eyverson Tykinnley Baker of Park Hall.

On Friday, May 24, 2024, at approximately 7:20 a.m., police and paramedics responded to the 20700 block of Colby Drive in Lexington Park to check on people’s welfare.

The emergency caller stated that he was walking his dog when he saw an old man of unknown age lying on the steps in front of the house and reported that he might be dead.

Police arrived at the scene, found the perpetrator and pronounced him dead on arrival. Emergency services arrived and also confirmed this.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
