Motorcyclist killed in traffic accident on Michigan Road

INDIANAPOLIS – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in northwest Indianapolis Friday evening.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of an injury accident at 6 p.m. on the 8200 block of North Michigan Road

When officers arrived, they found that an SUV and a motorcycle had collided.

Pike EMS transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

The driver of the SUV remained on scene and cooperated with police. The driver suffered no injuries.
