One person was stabbed in a brawl involving 100 people on Carson Beach in South Boston

One person was hospitalized Friday night after a large brawl involving about 100 people on Carson Beach in South Boston.

A man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Around 9 p.m., Boston and State Police officers were seen searching the area around the popular Southie Beach with dogs.

During the investigation, Day Boulevard was partially closed.

“Boston police assisted with crowd control. Detectives from H-Squad and Suffolk County Criminal Investigation are investigating the incident,” an MSP spokesman said.
