Pune Realtors Association extends lifeline for suspended realtors with training initiative

Report by Mubarak Ansari

Pune, May 25, 2024: In response to the recent decision of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) to suspend the licenses of 20,000 realtors, the Professional Realtors of Pune (PROP) has immediately convened an urgent meeting of its Board of Directors. The result: a proactive initiative to help the affected realtors complete the necessary training and exams to qualify for reinstatement under MahaRERA regulations.

PROP is affiliated to the National Association of Realtors-India (NAR-India), a recognized institute for RERA training, and is ready to provide assistance to the concerned realtors.

Darshan Chawla, President of PROP, emphasized the seriousness of the situation and said, “For many agents, this is a matter of livelihood and we urge all those affected to take up the training offered by NAR India.”

Kirti Bhosale, Secretary, PROP, echoed this sentiment and reiterated the association’s readiness to help agents correct any deficiencies and comply with MahaRERA guidelines.

Agents seeking support and wishing to enroll in the training program can contact the PROP Helpline on 82620 81379.
