NOPD seeks persons of interest in homicide investigation

The NOPD is asking the public for help in identifying and locating two people of interest in a homicide investigation.

On May 19, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers from the 7th Precinct were called to a shooting incident in the 4400 block of Werner Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim in the street in front of a residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Emergency medical services arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner later identified the victim as 40-year-old Dominque Jones.

Through investigation, investigators identified the people pictured as persons of interest in the investigation. They are NOT wanted in this shooting, but investigators believe they may have information relevant to their case
