Woman shot multiple times in NE Atlanta, 1 person arrested

ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured.

Friday evening, Atlanta police officers were called to Parkway Drive Northeast regarding a person shot.

Police arrived on scene and found a woman who had been shot several times.

She was taken to hospital, alert and conscious.

Police said they arrested one person.
