Pedestrian hit and killed by car in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in downtown Seattle Friday night.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the collision occurred at around 9:45 p.m. at the corner of Olive Way and Boren Avenue. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Since 11 p.m., Seattle police have been investigating the scene of the accident and asking drivers to avoid the area.
