Weather of the first warning:

  • Saturday will be sunny and warm
  • Friday is a First Alert Weather Day
  • Sunday is another first weather warning day with potential for severe storms

Saturday looks dry and beautiful! It will be warm and mostly sunny with lower humidity.

Sunday is another First Alert Weather Day. Storms are likely in the morning that could be severe, with hail and the threat of strong winds. The threat of an isolated tornado is low, but we can’t rule it out. IF a cold front hits our area in the late afternoon and evening AND the atmosphere regains storm strength after the morning storms, then we have the ingredients for stronger storms later in the day, including the threat of a tornado. While we still have some questions about this setup, we see the ingredients coming together for the potential for severe weather.

Monday (Remembrance Day) includes a slight chance of rain, but the holidays will be mostly dry, slightly cooler and less humid.

Heads up! The local NOAA Weather Radio station in St. Louis is experiencing telecommunications issues, meaning you will not receive signal or alerts. We always recommend having multiple ways to receive alerts. The KMOV Weather app is a fantastic resource and will send alerts and updates directly to your phone. The affected areas are marked in red below.
