One person died after motorcycle accident in Tuscola Township

TUSCOLA TOWNSHIP, Michigan – Police are still investigating the fatal motorcycle crash.

A 33-year-old Vassar man and his passenger, a 29-year-old Vassar woman, were riding a 2012 Honda motorcycle on Frankenmuth Road near Van Cleve Road at approximately 9:34 p.m. on Thursday, May 24.

The motorcycle was negotiating the curve when it was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Frankenmuth Road onto Van Cleve Road.

The vehicle, a 2019 GMC Terrain, was driven by a 23-year-old woman from Flint.

The 33-year-old man from Vassar succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
