Decatur Police: Traffic diverted after accident with injuries near US 31 and Highway 72

DECATUR, Alabama (WHNT) – The Decatur Police Department (DPD) reports that traffic is being diverted to US Highway 31 following an accident at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 72 near Decatur.

According to DPD, there was an accident with injuries “at the Y-junction”.

The department said traffic was being diverted to Highway 31 due to the accident.
