Washington DC police search for stolen puppy in Northeast

Washington, DC police are asking for the public’s help in locating a dog they believe was stolen from its owner in the Northeast on Thursday.

Washington, DC police are asking for the public’s help in locating a dog they believe was stolen from its owner in the Northeast on Thursday.

According to police, Bruno, a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, was abducted from the 1600 block of Gales Street Northeast around 4:10 p.m.

According to a department press release, the 10-month-old dog was last seen wearing an American flag bandana.

Officers shared a picture of the dog and the suspect accused of taking it on their social media accounts. They are asking anyone with information on the dog’s whereabouts to contact the Metropolitan Police Department with tips.
