PD: 1 arrested, 1 wanted in connection with McAllen auto theft investigation

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) – McAllen police have arrested a man and are searching for a suspect in connection with a car theft.

On May 17, the victim reported to police that his Chevrolet pickup truck had been stolen from the 100 block of E. Ridge Road, according to a McAllen police news release.

On May 23, Sergio Munoz Jr. was arrested by McAllen police and charged with embezzlement.

He was arraigned the following day and bail was set at $15,000.

Authorities are asking the public for help in locating the person in question in connection with the investigation into a car theft.
