Jacksonville police are investigating a homicide near the Willowbend Apartments

On May 7, at approximately 6:05 a.m., Jacksonville police responded to Willowbend Apartments for a report of an unconscious person lying outside an apartment.

Officers located the victim and pronounced him dead upon arrival. A murder investigation is ongoing.
