Block of main road in Johns Island closed due to accident with injuries

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – A road on Johns Island is closed after a single-vehicle crash.

Charleston County Sheriff’s officials are responding to the crash in the 1100 block of Main Road.

They say the driver of the car was taken to MUSC. His current condition is not yet known.

Rescue crews are reportedly working to recover the car from a ditch, so drivers should avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
