Assumption woman arrested after allegedly breaking into home and attacking owner

NAPOLEONVILLE – A Belle Rose woman was arrested by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office for allegedly breaking into a home and assaulting the owner.

Phoebe Ann Joseph, 51, violently entered a home in Klotzville on Sunday, officials said. The homeowner called the sheriff’s office after Joseph allegedly physically assaulted him and left the house.

Officers then issued a warrant for Joseph’s arrest and arrested her Thursday evening. She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center, where she was charged with trespassing and second-degree assault.
