3 dead in Statesville shooting, no suspect at large

STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) – Three people were killed in a shooting Friday morning in Statesville.

According to police, they were called to a home on Bunker Hill Lane around 7:30 a.m. because shots were reportedly fired.

Police confirmed that three people were found dead.

“We ask for the public’s patience and cooperation as we continue our investigation,” a department representative wrote in a press release. “Our thoughts are with the families affected by this tragedy.”

According to police, no suspects are at large.

The investigation is still active.
