Woman injured in accident near Osakis

Osakis, MN – On Thursday evening (May 23) around 5 p.m., the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash south of Osakis.

According to the official report, Lindsay Haan, 35, of Carlos, was traveling south on Highway 27 when her vehicle collided with a pickup truck driven by Jamal Madison, 40, of Anchorage, Alaska, who was looking for an intersection with the I-94 westbound exit ramp onto the other side of Highway 27.

Haan suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Alomere Hospital for treatment.

The State Patrol was assisted by first responders from Osakis and North Memorial Ambulance.
