Fatal pedestrian accident on Mission Boulevard in Pomona

POMONA, CA (May 24, 2024) – One person died in a pedestrian accident at Mission Boulevard and Reservoir Street.

According to Pomona police, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Wednesday at around 10:09 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a person at the corner of East Mission Boulevard and South Reservoir Street. Pomona police then arrived and found a pedestrian in the street. However, the victim succumbed to his serious injuries, as paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed.

The driver of the accident remained on site and cooperated with police investigators.
