Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused in new lawsuit of drugging and raping a student

A woman has accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of drugging and raping her multiple times while she was a student.

April Lampros has filed a lawsuit against the 54-year-old rap mogul, claiming he showered her with gifts and flowers after they met in New York. However, things took a darker turn when they met at a bar in 1995 and ended up back in his hotel room.

The former Fashion Institute of Technology student claimed Diddy plied her with alcohol and when they returned to the rapper’s room at the Millennium Hotel, she began feeling sick and like “the walls were closing in on her” as the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker allegedly began forcing himself on her and, although she was still conscious, she was unable to defend herself as he began to rape her.

The next day, April woke up “naked, sore and confused.”

Months later, Diddy got back in touch and courted her again, offering her access to music industry events.

According to TMZ, her lawyer wrote: “(She was) a hopeful but naive college student and took Mr. Combs at his word. She believed the first rape was a possible pretext and decided to give him a second chance.”

But when they went to a parking garage for dinner and walked to his car that was parked there, the ‘Coming Home’ singer allegedly forced his date to perform oral sex on him and was unconcerned when a guard saw it.

April claimed that she then began to decline Diddy’s invitations, causing him to develop a “gangster persona” in increasing anger, calling her repeatedly and threatening to blacklist her from the industry.

In 1996, April was “summoned” to Diddy’s apartment and upon her arrival was introduced to his then-partner, the late Kim Porter. The accuser alleged that the musician injected ecstasy down her throat and then demanded that she have sex with Kim while he masturbated before allegedly raping her again.

The woman broke up with Kim in 1998, but then got into a fight with Kim at the restaurant where she worked. She says this led to her firing after Kim told the restaurant owner that she had tried to poison her and that Diddy would close his business if he didn’t fire his employee.

According to the lawsuit, the two met one last time in late 2000 at Rockefeller Center, and Diddy – who was dating Jennifer Lopez at the time – went back to April’s apartment, where he allegedly suddenly “forcibly grabbed her and forced himself on her,” but left when she resisted.

Elsewhere in the lawsuit, April claims that last year someone told her then-boyfriend that he had seen a video of her having sex with Diddy. Now she was told their encounter was recorded without her knowledge and the footage was shown to several people.

She is suing the “Victory” rapper for sexual assault, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress and also names Bad Boy Records, Arista and Sony Music Entertainment as defendants, arguing that the companies enabled him to commit the crimes.

Diddy was hit by a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024, including sex trafficking and sexual assault.

The proceedings are ongoing and he denies all allegations against him.
