First warning on Friday due to possible isolated storms

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The work week ends with an initial warning and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.

Friday began with a few early morning thunderstorms across the region, but will give way to mostly cloudy skies before the possibility of more isolated thunderstorms moving in. Temperatures will reach the mid-30s.

It will be mostly sunny on Saturday and Sunday, but there may be isolated thunderstorms later in the day. Maximum temperatures on both days will be just over 30 degrees.

Another initial warning is in effect for Monday, Memorial Day, as more rain and storms are possible. Temperatures will be in the high 30s and windy weather is expected.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly sunny with maximum temperatures around 30 degrees.
