Investigators arrest suspects after investigation | KMMO

Detectives from the Crime Resolution Unit and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Thursday, May 23, the result of a months-long joint investigation into drug trafficking in Sedalia.

The search warrant was issued for 1410 South Missouri Avenue, which is about 200 feet from Vermont Park. Investigators searched the home and found a large amount of methamphetamine and evidence that it was being distributed from there.

Following the completion of the search warrant, one person was arrested and charges are pending for first degree drug trafficking, distribution of a controlled substance in a protected place, and possession of a controlled substance.

According to KMMO guidelines, the name of the person concerned will not be released until formal charges are filed.
