Coroner identifies two dead after house fire in Inyokern

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The medical examiner’s office has determined the identities of two people found dead in an Inyokern home that burned down in March.

The coroner identified the two victims as Lyndel Virgil Davis, 53, and Agnes Dell Smith Davis, 94.

At approximately 3:15 a.m. on March 29, firefighters were called to the burning home in the area of ​​Johnston Street and North Calvert Boulevard. During a search of the house, firefighters found the two bodies.

According to a coroner, further autopsies are needed to determine the cause and manner of her death.
