GHMC sanitation officer sexually assaults women; probe on

Hyderabad: In a disturbing act, a field officer of the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) sexually assaulted a woman worker at Gahuramaram, filmed the incident and posted it on social media platforms.

The alleged video, which has not gone viral, shows accused Kishan positioning the camera and lunging at the woman who tries to escape from the room but is caught by him.

The video contains sensitive content.

He then forces her onto a bench and begins to sexually assault her. Moments later, when he is finished, he retrieves his cell phone.

The officer reportedly told the victims to follow his instructions while on duty, otherwise he would make their lives difficult or threaten to fire them.

When his colleagues came to know about the incidents, he allegedly paid Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 to silence them.

Speaking to media, Assistant Medical Officer of Health (AMOH) Chandhra Shekhar said, “A week ago, we received the complaint and stopped him,” adding, “The investigation is underway.”
