Brothers raped and impregnated their sister

Two brothers, aged 23 and 20, are accused of raping their own 14-year-old sister for more than a year in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district. The teenager became pregnant as a result of the frequent sexual assaults in this disturbing case of incest and paedophilia.

The two brothers were taken into custody on Sunday, according to a report from their mother at Tila Morh police station, Ghaziabad police said on Monday. The victim, a Class 8 student, complained of stomach pain and was sent to a diagnostic center in Delhi for an ultrasound scan on the recommendation of a doctor. According to police, the incident came to light on Saturday.

The mother was shocked to learn the teen was 22 weeks pregnant and then described how her brothers had sexually abused her for over a year, police said. She said she said she became pregnant because her brothers sexually exploited her last year.
