Suspend absentees from election duty: Collector

Kurnool: Collector of Elections and District Returning Officer G. Srijana has directed the officials to take action against employees who failed to attend polling duties.

In the district, 79 teachers and 21 officials from various departments were absent from their assigned elective duties. On Tuesday, the officials concerned were asked to explain why they did not appear. The collector asked the officials to suspend those who did not give explanations.
