Diddy is accused of sexual assault by a model who accuses him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003 before blackmailing her in Hollywood

Diddy is facing another legal challenge as a new lawsuit filed in New York federal court on Tuesday (May 21) accuses him of drug use and sexually assaulting the model Crystal McKinney in 2003.

The lawsuit, filed under the NYC Gender Motivated Violence Act, which allows victims of gender-based violence to sue regardless of when the abuse occurred, names names Diddyhis record label Bad Boy Entertainment, the distributor Universal Music Group and his fashion brand Sean John Clothing as defendants.

According to the lawsuit Crystal McKinney was a 22-year-old aspiring model when she met Diddy by an unnamed fashion designer in 2003. The designer reportedly dressed Crystal McKinney in a way that is meant to attract Diddy and brought her to meet him at Cipriani Downtown, a restaurant in New York City. During dinner Diddy is said to have made several flirtatious and sexually suggestive comments McKinney in front of the other guests.

The lawsuit alleges that later that evening Diddy invited McKinney to his recording studio, where he and several male colleagues drank alcohol and smoked marijuana. She states this in her statement of claim Diddy gave her a joint that felt “very strong,” leading her to believe it might contain “a narcotic or other intoxicating substance.”

According to the lawsuit, after he got drunk, Diddy took her to a bathroom where he forced her to her knees and demanded she “suck it.” McKinney later lost consciousness and woke up in a taxi.

The lawsuit also claims that after the incident McKinney’s The modeling options decreased since Diddy is said to have used his influence to put her under pressure in the industry. She claims this led to severe anxiety, depression, substance abuse and a suicide attempt in 2004.

This latest lawsuit is one of a number of allegations against Diddyincluding a recently filed lawsuit he sought to dismiss related to the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in 2003. Last November, additional allegations of abuse emerged from two women, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, and a male music producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in February.

Additionally, Diddy apologized after releasing hotel surveillance footage that showed the mogul attacking the singer Cassiewhich cited allegations of rape and physical abuse in her now-settled lawsuit.
